The valley of the springbok

So we finally turned off on to a cattle ranch that is very flat and surrounded on the north, east, and west by mountains, mesas, and rocky peaks. It is very beautiful here.

The cattle are a big healthy breed with some brahma and angus mixed in there somewhere. These cattle are much larger than the cattle I've seen on different beef ranches in California.
